Music is one of the greatest gifts we have and I have a passion in helping people unlock their potential to express themselves on the Guitar.
About me.
I have been performing professionally as a musician (Guitar and Vocals) since I left school alongside studying for a Bmus hons in Jazz, Popular and Commercial Music graduating in 2007. Since then I have toured around the UK and Europe performing at festivals and venues such as The Glasshouse (Gateshead), Glastonbury, Shepherds Bush Empire and O2 Arena (London), Melt Festival (Berlin) and Paradiso (Amsterdam). I am a songwriter, arranger and session musician as well as an experienced teacher in Electric and Acoustic Guitar.
Why come for a lesson?
There’s so much information online now for people to learn from which is amazing but I often find that this leaves gaps in knowledge and students can feel lost or overwhelmed with what is out there, where to start and how to progress. Working together with students my aim is to create a clear path of progression that you can follow which helps to create a solid foundation of learning and technique to build from in order to become the musician you want to be. I can also work with students to enter for graded exams such as Rockschool, Trinity and ABRSM.
